Known for their raw, ferocious, yet melodic sound, highlighting their powerful D-beat rhythms, heavy riffs, and political/nihilistic themes. They are often compared to classic Swedish D-beat bands like Disfear and Discharge and live it is a complete earth-destroying-bomb performance! LANGUID wanted to bring together the bands that highly influenced them and that they love. MEANWHILE does not need any introduction and is a highly influential Swedish D-beat/hardcore punk band originating from Eskilstuna. Formed in the 1990s by former members of Dischange, No Security, and Totalitär, they deliver raw, brutal, and politically charged Discharge-style D-beat (also known as kängpunk). These “legendary Swedish d-beat veterans” have been tearing through the punk scene since the 90’s with their relentless riffs, crushing rhythms, and pure Discharge-worship chaos. A true institution of Scandinavian raw punk d-beat genre. Meanwhile are widely considered one of the key pioneers and definitive bands of the Swedish Discharge-inspired d-beat style.
