Leeds-based Higher Power started out as a pure hardcore band, clearly guided by GROOVE and Leeway’s second LP ’Desperate Measures’. Since then, their music has evolved to draw influences from nu-metal, grunge, and 90s rock, without losing touch with their roots. For the freaks, by the freaks.

FEELS LIKE HEAVEN

STOCKHOLM HARDCORE Revolution Summer meets Turning Point in the perfect crossover between hardcore and post-hardcore. Their debut LP ’Within Dreams’ was released in January and has been followed by intense touring in Europe and Asia, making the Sthlm Hc Takeover their first hometown show in months.

KILLING ME SOFTLY (UK)

KMS is a chaotic metalcore band from Leeds that blends early 2000s influences like Poison the Well, Converge and Norma Jean, and combines them with modern mosh, emo, and powerviolence. First time in Stockholm!!

TIMES OF DESPERATION

Slayer riffs, breakdowns, and lyrics about animal rights is one thing, but when Times of Desperation combine metalcore with veganism, they take it to the next level. Drawing influences from the 90s to the present day, they pick the heaviest and hardest raisins from the (vegan) cake, as we say in Sweden.

HERDAGGER

Stockholm’s new masters of emo-metalcore slaughter every stage they step on. It’s chaotic, genuine, heavy, and extremely good. If you want to see the future of Stockholm hardcore, this is it!
